‘Acting for Screen’ Workshop

If you want to sharpen your screen acting skills, or if you’re brand new to screen acting and want to hone your technique in a fun, safe environment, this is the workshop for you!

About the Workshop
We want to make sure that our workshops are supportive, useful and most importantly fun!
During this 3 hour workshop, you and nine other actors will be working with original scripts, supplied by our in-house writing team chosen specifically for your casting, reading opposite an experienced screen actor.
The classes are run by an award winning filmmaker and screen actor, who will offer direction, feedback and camera tips throughout.
While you are working on your script in front of the camera, the nine other actors in the workshop will be watching a live feed of the action, ready to give some supportive feedback on your screen technique and performance.
During your multiple takes, we will also be using multiple cinema lenses. Exploring how different shots can change your performance is vital in screen acting.
We use a Netflix approved 12k cinema camera and professional audio equipment, offering the highest quality footage for you to take home with you.
Once you have had a chance to work on your notes given to you by us and the other group members, we will record a final take of which you will be sent to review at home, enabling you to review your work and continue the learning process.

The cost of the workshop (£55) is claimable as a discount on the cost of shooting a ‘Three Scene Package’ Showreel with Ryan Kirwan Films if you book and film within two months of your workshop date. (Please note that if you attend more than one workshop you are still only eligible for £55 off of your ‘Three Scene Package’ booking.
