We have been creating Showreels from scratch for the past seven years, working alongside agents, casting directors, theatre companies and drama schools to create something unique and special for actors. Ryan Kirwan Films was voted one of the countries leading Showreel companies by Mixing Networks, who provide professional camera workshops and classes for actors. We are also the ‘exclusive Showreel provider’ for some of the UK’s leading acting agencies.

Having trained at drama school almost ten years ago, we understand what it’s like to be on the other side of the camera. This gives us the ability to connect with the actors and offer direction, support and suggestions which come from a place of understanding. There’s nothing worse than feeling stressed or under pressure during a shoot. We make sure that you have fun, as much as anything. Why else bother!?

Our multiple teams all include multi-award winning cinematographers, established writers and professional, working sound technicians who have had work screened in LA, New York and London, with feature films currently showing on Amazon Prime.

The incredible lenses used on every Showreel are more often found in production on Hollywood feature films and various Netflix series’. We shoot all of our Showreels with the incredible Netflix approved Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro 12K camera, as well as the Zeiss CP.2 Cine Lenses. For audio we use industry standard Sennheiser and RODE equipment.

Having created well over three thousand Showreels we know what works well, how to get the best out of the actors and to smoothly accomplish the balance of beautiful cinematography and showing the actor off in their best light possible.
